Mecon Services was established in 2022, after recognising a need to provide technical expertise to start-up and medium-sized companies, outside the normal organisational constraints. 

Martin has a wealth of industrial experience, spanning a career of 38 years in industry, and has access to expert contacts and companies worldwide.

After graduating in Electronics in 1986, Martin immediately started working in the semiconductor industry in both the UK and Europe. He was responsible for technology development, as well as establishing manufacturing capability.

His wide-ranging experience spans silicon wafer fabrication in CMOS, MEMS, Integrated Photonics, Biosensors, OLED displays, and industrial inkjet

During time out, Martin enjoys scuba-diving, and making beer to competition level.
